Working primarily in Philly, NYC/Brooklyn, AZ, and LA. I have been doing makeup for several years now. Originally starting off as a model at 18 I soon realized I had a passion for makeup. I have owned and operated several art galleries. I currently reside in Philadelphia and travel often to NYC, LA, and Arizona.
I love and live for color! I can do natural looks but most shoots I do are high-end fierce makeup (which I happen to prefer.) I also do hair!
My rates are for makeup, touch ups, posing help, art direction, etc. I do not accept TFP shoots. This is my career not a hobby. I can normally work with your budget so don't hesitate to contact me! My rates vary with each shoot depending on how many looks and models I'm doing. I do work in every genre as well.
I will travel anywhere. *Compensation may be required depending on time and distance!

My name is Lauren Palmer a.k.a Lady of Design. I am a certified makeup artist, licensed cosmetologist and wardrobe stylist in the entertainment industry. My talents have enabled me to receive a wide range of makeup expertise in couture fashion, editorial print, avant garde, film/television, runway, the music industry, bridal and multi-service salons and spas. I am an artist and have a strong sense of creativity, style, and color. I stay up to date on new and upcoming trends and techniques as well as making up a couple on my own

In order to achieve the same looks that I have produced in my portfolio I have to charge a kit fee. Quality of products ensure quality of pictures & less photoshopping! Ask me for my rates!

Makeup and Hair
I'm a licensed cosmetologist in the south Jersey area. Makeup artistry and hair styling are my 2 biggest passions and I see myself doing this kind of work for the rest of my life. My creativity is endless and I feel inspired by many different settings. I am completely focused on building a portfolio for myself, making connections with like minded people, and gaining experience. Please inquire about my rates! I keep them low and they're always negotiable.
Although I am laid back and mellow, I am always extremely professional. I'm organized, on time, and always prepared. As fun as this is for me I do take it seriously. You don't have to worry about me being late, bitching about something random, or being a shmuck once I'm on the set of the shoot.
